Peter Wolf - Producer, Songwriter, and Arranger
"Simply the Best!"
- Peter Wolf
Peter Wolf is a composer, producer, songwriter, and arranger, who's helped pen such hits as "We Built This City" (Jefferson Starship), "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" (Wang Chung), and "These Dreams" (Heart). He was also a keyboardist for Frank Zappa in the late 1970s.
Wolf was born in Austria and studied classical piano at the Conservatory of Music in Vienna. He traveled to the US in his early twenties to play music, and soon found work playing and writing for a wide variety of top musicians and groups. He moved on to film composing, making music for the Neverending Story III and Weekend at Bernie's II, and continues to produce and compose to this day.
He also is a big fan of Mogami cable and uses them exclusively throughout his studio. "[They're] simply the best!" he says.
Peter and his wife Lea reside in California.
