Adam Blackstone - Multi-instrumentalist, Musical Director, Songwriter, Producer, and Bassist
"'The Mogami Sound' is classic and heard all throughout my recordings and TV shows. It is unmatched for accuracy, and its superior quality helps me multi-task without ever having to worry about my sound being compromised. The clarity is amazing and the silent background of Mogami means a great deal for hearing precision on the radio or TV. I am proud to be using Mogami Cables on everything I do."

Adam Blackstone is an Emmy-nominated musical director and Grammy award-winning writer, who currently serves as the musical mastermind behind many of the live shows of today's most successful artists. Blackstone has served as the musical director for top artists like Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Timberlake, directing intricate live shows for each artist in locations all over the world, including Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl performance in 2018.
Blackstone was born in Trenton, New Jersey, and at the early age of six he was already playing drums in the local church under the tutelage of his father, jazz musician Rod Blackstone. Gifted with rhythm and perfect pitch, Blackstone took up the bass while in high school and soon earned a scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
In college he began working as a session bass player and earned a reputation as a solid talent. His remarkable skills earned him an opportunity to play bass on Jay-Z's live tour and from then on, he's been touring the world with the top acts in music. In 2009 Blackstone partnered with his wife to start the company BASSic Black Entertainment, LLC (BBE). BBE is a full music service company that provides live music production, musician staffing, artist development, and studio production. Under the same moniker, they launched the BBE Record label in 2013.
Adam Blackstone's versatility and musical ability keeps him on stages and screens across the world, but his faith and family keep him on the ground as he continues to create his own musical legacy. Blackstone is also a big fan of Mogami Cable and uses it exclusively for his recordings and live shows.
