Chris Chaney is a renowned American bassist, studio musician, and songwriter, best known for his dynamic playing style and versatility across genres. With a career spanning over three decades, Chaney gained prominence as the bassist for Jane's Addiction and was a founding member of the supergroup Camp Freddy. He has also performed and recorded with a wide array of high-profile artists including Alanis Morissette, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, Slash, Rob Zombie, Joe Satriani, and Elton John.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Chaney's technical proficiency and musical intuition have made him one of the most sought-after session bassists in the industry. His contributions can be heard on numerous platinum albums, movie soundtracks, and television scores.
